Information security is our priority. We are happy to announce that Macrix Technology Group has recently been certified according to ISO 27001.
Under the leadership of our colleague Tomasz Spurek, the certification process, which lasted several months, was successfully completed. In December last year, the world’s leading auditing company Société Générale de Surveillance (SGS) officially confirmed that we meet the highest international standards in terms of data protection and information security.
What exactly does the certification mean for us and for our customers? The ISO 27001:2013 standard describes the requirements for a documented information security management system. By establishing such a system, we ensure, among other things, that:
- Company data, and in particular data of customers and business partners, is strictly protected;
- the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data are ensured through appropriate processes and measures;
- potential risks relating to information security are identified, monitored, and eliminated on an ongoing basis.
The security of data and systems has always been a top priority at Macrix – we are pleased that our professionalism in handling customer data has been confirmed by an independent authority. In addition, our ISO 9001 quality management certification, already obtained in 2019, was also extended after a successful audit.
Both ISO certifications will continue to be regularly reviewed by the certification body in the future. This way, we can guarantee our customers and partners that we are constantly adapting our processes to always meet the current international requirements in the areas of security and quality management.
