Macrix has been associated with the automotive industry for many years. Thanks to this, recently a group of our employees had the unique opportunity to peek behind the scenes of a professional racing event. In mid-October, they were invited by our partner team RN Vision STS to see the GT4 Sprint Cup Europe, which was taking place at the Hockenheimring racetrack in Germany.

At this event, team members of RN Vision STS showed the Macrix employees how motorsports look like from close up. The guests visited the paddock and the box to see how the cars are prepared for the race. A chat with the team’s pilots revealed many interesting facts about what it’s like to compete on the track.

“It was nice to see how it all works behind the scenes and not just watch the race from the stands. An amazing experience! – that’s how Dominik, Senior Developer at the Poznan office of Macrix recalls the event. Dariusz, Project Manager at the Poznan office, adds: “The most interesting thing was to see the work of the mechanics – how perfectly they are in tune with each other. They communicate without words, everyone knows what to do. Even difficult repairs run very fast”.
